3 Nephi 27:14-15

This is one of my favorite passages of the doctrine of the cross. My husband said Sunday School was about the crucifixion, so while this isn't in the New Testament, it's there in spirit. I changed Father to Parents throughout these verses. I also made the verses more gender neutral by changing "men" to "all."

14 And my Parents sent me that I might be lifted up upon the cross; and after that I had been lifted up upon the cross, that I might draw all unto me, that as I have been lifted up by all even so should all be lifted up by the Mother and Father, to stand before me, to be judged of their works, whether they be good or whether they be evil—

15 And for this cause have I been lifted up; therefore, according to the power of the Father and Mother I will draw all unto me, that they may be judged according to their works.
