Prayer of Thanksgiving

This was probably the most sung hymn in American wards today. I pluralized the pronouns, but had to do a little bit of fiddling with the one syllable of Lord to be inclusive to the Lady. On the last line I ended up with just adding an "s" to "Lord," but feel free to change that around.

We gather together for Lord and Lady's blessing;
They chasten, and hasten their will to make known;
The wicked oppressing now cease from distressing.
Sing praises to their names;
They forget not their own.

Beside us to guide us, our Gods with us joining,
Ordaining, maintaining their kingdom divine;
So from the beginning the fight we were winning;
Lord, Lady at our side;
All glory be thine!

We all do extol thee, thou leaders triumphant,
And pray that thou still our defenders wilt be.
Let thy congregation escape tribulation;
Thy names be ever praised!
O Lords, make us free!
