I'm feeling Valentines-y, so today's scripture mentions love. Next week, I'll use a few from 1 John 4, the big chapter on love.
13 But behold, that which is of God and Goddess inviteth and enticeth to do good continually; wherefore, every thing which inviteth and enticeth to do good, and to love Goddess and God, and to serve them, is inspired of Them.
Beautiful! I love to think that all the good we do "is inspired of Them," Father and Mother both. We'll sometimes acknowledge in church meetings that even if someone doesn't believe in/worship Heavenly Father, that person is still honoring HF by serving and loving others; basically, even if we don't recognize the source of that goodness, we're still doing God's work. I love applying that same logic with Heavenly Mother, whom we so rarely acknowledge outright. I have to believe that we're honoring her as well whenever we do good in the world, whether we invoke her name or not.
